As an AWS Select Partner and the first company to launch a DaaS product on AWS Marketplace, X-Mode is excited to announce our expanded partnership with AWS by being one of the launch partners for AWS Data Exchange. This will be another way for X-Mode’s premium location data available to be made available to millions of AWS clients worldwide.
X-Mode has previously worked with the AWS Marketplace to develop the platform’s first-ever Data as a Service offering. At that time, the AWS Data Exchange did not yet exist, but our engineers were able to work with the AWS team to retrofit the marketplace to our data needs. Now, thanks to the AWS Data Exchange, it’s even easier for customers to access all the data they need.
The AWS Data Exchange contains more than 1,000 data offerings from more than 80 different data providers. In their official announcement of the exchange, AWS informed customers that they have a “diverse catalog of free and paid offerings, in categories such as financial services, healthcare/life sciences, geospatial, weather, and mapping.” There truly has never been a better time for the data industry; where once silos of data lived behind garden walls, they are now at the fingertips of millions.
